We are a group of people who decided we could each put aside a little every month.
Not enough to change the world. Enough to help someone.
Our story
Aiding Souls was created by a group of people who contribute a small amount of their own money every month and pool it together. The amount is not huge. We do not claim to solve every problem, and we don't operate as a large international humanitarian organisation.
Instead: we do what we can, where we can. The purpose is to provide practical, small-scale help to people, communities and animals who need it — particularly in slum and underserved communities, with a focus on basic necessities, advocacy, housing-related assistance, animals and other everyday needs.
This is about consistent small action rather than grand promises. A few people contributing a little can become meaningful help for someone else.
Our philosophy
A few people. A little every month. One shared pool. Real needs. Small acts of help. Aiding Souls began with a simple idea: if a group of people contributes what they comfortably can, together we can make someone's month a little easier.
Dignity comes first
We don't believe someone has to become content for someone else's generosity. We respect the privacy and dignity of the people and communities we support. We don't photograph or publicly display people simply to prove that we helped them — our work doesn't need to become someone's photograph for it to matter.
How we work
A small amount is pooled by our community each month. We identify genuine needs through local connections and trusted collaborators, then help with food, essentials, advocacy, housing support, animal care or other practical assistance where possible. There are no dramatic one-time campaigns — just small steps, consistently.
Who can participate
Anyone. You can contribute financially, volunteer your time or skills, collaborate as an organisation or professional, or simply tell us about a community need you've noticed. See our Get Involved page for details.
Our values
Dignity over display
We don't use people's hardship as marketing.
Consistency over spectacle
Small steps, taken regularly, over dramatic one-off campaigns.
Practical help over empty promises
We only offer what we can genuinely provide.
Transparency over ambiguity
Honest about our scale and what we can and can't do.
Community over saviourism
We work alongside people, not above them.
Small action over helplessness
Doing something small and real beats waiting for something big.
